ABOUT ME
A Life of Curiosity. And a Rather Unusual Experiment.
Hi, I'm Pavel Alimov.
I've never been particularly good at sticking to just one thing in life. And frankly, I've never really wanted to.
My professional journey in theater began back in 1989. Over the years, I've worked in theater production, represented actors, built websites, and explored all sorts of creative projects.
More recently, I've even found myself acting in films. After spending so many years working with performers, stepping in front of the camera myself has been quite an experience!
But there's another side of my life that has nothing to do with theater or filmmaking.
And that's what brought me here.
THE MIND HAS ALWAYS FASCINATED ME
For years, I've been interested in the ideas explored by John Kehoe in his Mind Power teachings.
The relationship between our thoughts, habits, motivation, and everyday behavior has always fascinated me.
I've often wondered whether there might be different ways to influence our habits and the way we approach personal challenges.
And somewhere along the way, music entered the picture.
What if I could create something deeply personal — music connected to the characteristics of my own voice — and make it part of my daily routine?
That question eventually led me to develop my own approach to personalized music.
I'm keeping the details of how I create it private. But I'm more than happy to share what happens when I listen to it.
SO, WHAT'S THE EXPERIMENT?
Well, here's the thing.
I'm in my sixties, and like many people my age, I'm not particularly thrilled with what my bathroom scale has to tell me.
Sound familiar? LOL.
I've tried different approaches to managing my weight, and I know that changing habits isn't always easy.
So I decided to try something unusual.
I created personalized music based on my own voice, started listening to it every day, and decided to document my experience.
I track my weight, pay attention to how I feel, and share a real video update every week.
No dramatic promises. No miracle cures. No secret formula for losing twenty pounds overnight.
In fact, I don't know whether the music will make any difference to my weight at all.
And that's precisely why I'm doing this.
It's a personal experiment, not a scientifically proven weight-loss method or medical advice.
CURIOSITY DOESN'T HAVE AN AGE LIMIT
Although I'm doing this experiment in my sixties, I don't believe curiosity belongs to any particular generation.
You might be 35, 55, 75, or simply someone who enjoys following an unusual personal story.
You're welcome here.
Maybe my experiment will lead somewhere interesting. Maybe it won't.
Either way, I intend to share the experience as it unfolds — including the disappointments, surprises, and occasional arguments with my bathroom scale.
After all, life would be pretty boring if we stopped trying new things.
LET'S SEE WHAT HAPPENS!
I started documenting this experiment on October 16, 2026.
You can watch the very first episode and follow the weekly updates.
Thanks for stopping by.
